Hunter Story

I was driving tractor the other day and a red Toyota pickup pulls up into the edge of the field. The driver is standing outside of his pickup and is waiting for me to come over and talk to him. After about 30 minutes I pull out of working the field and drive over to see what he wants. He shakes my hand and asks me if I remember him. I do not. He then tells me his story.
Two years ago he was out hunting on the north portion of the farm and had a stroke. His son was with him and drove him to the hospital from hunting that day. He was sitting on a rock when it happens and his son was walking around the field to get the deer to move. The next thing he remembers is his son trying to wake him and then getting him into the truck for the ride to the hospital. He has recovered for the most part and he just wanted me to know who much his life changed that day and if he died he would have been happy to die out here on that rock.
I wonder what I should say. I know that I am really happy he did not die that day as I would have had too much paper work to fill out with the Sheriff department. I know that I am happy he recovered and was able to drive and hunt again. I also know that I cannot remember him and I have to wonder if he really had a stroke on my farm two years ago or did the stroke mess with him mind on the location?
This is just another strange hunter story to add to my list.

Well, he either (a) Had a stroke on the farm you don’t remember (b) forgot where he was at or (c) was made up in hopes you will feel sorry for him and offer to let him finish his hunt.

I was extremely fortunate to have hunted in the “handicap/ challenged hunters deer hunt last season,.. and personally saw/had a chance at the largest racked mule deer that I’ve ever seen in my life! and I’ve been v. fortunate in my life to have previously hunted mule deer through out the USA& numerous Canadian provinces having glassed and harvested mule deer bucks that many hunters consider to be trophy-class the buck Ilooked at while hunting with Craig&Garyhadan enormous main frame 4×4 with just a few ‘extra tines dropping off the rightmain beam the body of this deer was also ‘enormous very indicative of a very mature& very healthy
worldclass Muledeer buck! that was my deer hunting experience of a lifetime” and.. “the biggest Buck I never shot!! he’s still out there &I’m sure he’s ‘alive&well because.. where he’s liv’n it’s secure and he’s completelysurrounded by the very best buck grub in the universe!!
