Well since there hasnt been much to do on the farm with all the snow on the ground  and goose season closed we have moved into fishing mode. We are fishing Lake Roosevelt for fresh water Cod (burbot). The fishing this winter has been just awesome. We have had days where we have caught over 70 fish. The limit on burbot is 5 so we catch and release fish till we get the biggest ones we can find. Most of these fish are in the 3-7lb range. The burbot start biting in Dec and will bite really good till they drop the water level to far and the section of river we fish has to much current, usually the end of Feb.
