Just had a great trip to the Oregon REA meeting in Hood River. Had a great list of speakers and the topics covered were great. The economist covered the demand side of the power industry and how the market forces will determine the future of our industry. Sheldon talked about the top ten things we need to plan for in the board planning meetings. Top one was power supply going forward. The final topic was the solar eclipse coming in August and why it will happen for this short amount of time and get ready for the crowds. I will be harvesting. Hope I do not need the headlights.
