Last summer my son was driving my old combine. He was climbing a hill when suddenly the combine lost power. It started to roll backwards and the brakes only held when he stood on them on this hill. The combine was rolling towards a canyon and a cliff. My son realized that this would not end well as this machine was never designed to go cliff jumping. He jumped off the machine and cleared the header. He then watched this machine go off the edge of the field and then over a cliff. He did ask me if I realized how much noise a combine made going over a cliff? All I can say is thank God that you my son, are alive and you could hear the noise. I have not figured out how to get the machine back up to the field.
