History of the Deer picture in the background

I want to give everyone a little history on the photo that is the background for this site, When Garry and myself decided to embark on this hunting adventure I went out to do some planning for the property. I was out with Scott Imholt one of our guides at YJ Guide Service and his son Colton when we were driving north out one of the roads that goes through the winter wheat. We hadnt driven but a few hundred yards when we came upon this group of 25 Mule deer feeding in the wheat. I luckily had the camera with me on this day, which normally I forget LOL. As we parked the truck so I could get the camera out and take a picture, the deer started to walk across in front of us. As you can tell by this picture, it came out awesome and turned out to be one of the best ones I’ve ever taken. Almost everyone that has seen this picture cant believe its real, they think its been photo shopped. I’m here to say it wasn’t. This is the type of things we see all the time on the farm. We generally always see groups of 20-40 deer at a time. Whats really cool is you can see the mountains behind Lake Roosevelt in the background, which are about 4 1/2 miles away. We have had such a big response to this photo that we decided to have it copy righted and used on this site as the background. Good hunting and fishing everyone….Craig
