Turkey season is approaching!

Since Turkey season is approaching fast I made my weekly trip out to the farm to check cameras and scout for Turkey. The cameras we have set up have been capturing the Turkeys eating by the feeders almost everyday. I was walking up to one of the feeders when I looked over and saw a group of about 25 Toms, all which had nice long beards. As the Turkey season approaches it becomes essential to learn the habits of the birds. Its always good to know where the birds are roosting at night and try and figure out where their heading for breakfast in the morning. Under no circumstances do you ever want to shoot these birds out of their roost trees, unless you want the birds to move. The Turkey season opens April 15th, 2012. If anyone wants to hunt for these Turkeys just drop us a line. We are offering a hunting and fishing weekend called our Casting and Calling Weekend. You get a full day guided Turkey hunt for 1 bird and 3/4 of a day guided fishing trip of your choice on any one of the bodies of water we fish, all for $475.00 per person. Book now for the best dates. Stay tuned for more Turkey hunting tips and pics coming soon.
